Genesis 1.15 first Flood
The Father-of-beginning created Elohim, the heavens and the earth. A highly developed civilization emerged. Who could this civilization have been? The follwing illustation is a speculative approach.
What about Atlantis? This past civilization was first described in Plato's Timaeus and the Critias.
The story of Atlantis is a tantalizing tale: An advanced civilization that went too far in its greed, provoking the wrath of god who erased Atlantis from the face of the earth in one day and one night. The heart of Atlantis was a central city surrounded by high mountains (one higher than any known mountain to ancient greeks) that descended toward the sea. At its center was a palace which stood on a hill for the first king. The rest of Atlantis was divided into ten regions, each governed by a king.

Plato describes a decline in the virtue and righteousness of the Atlanteans. Over generations, the divine portion of their lineage diluted, and with it, their noble qualities. The destruction of Atlantis was both swift and devastating. Atlantis was destroyed in a single day and night. The exact cause is not detailed explicitly, but after the desaster it was submersioned beneath the sea, or better: Atlantis did not sank, it has been flooded.
Atlantis was much bigger then you might think. If you take a look at these stair treads the body size of its inhabitants might be more than 60 feet (~20 Meter). So everything (the city, the nations, etc. ) could be ten times bigger. According to Plato: it was an empire larger than Libya (Λιβύη) and Asia (Ασία) put together (Timaeus 24e), perhaps even a worldwide civilization.
The first known map of the Arctic is the Septentrionalium Terrarum from cartographer Gerardus Mercator (Mercator projection). In the center of his map is a massive rock located exactly at the pole, which he labels Rupus Nigra et Altissima (Black Rock, very high mountain) Mercator described its size as 33 miles (miles was not fix defined then).
The capital of Altlantis was located near the very high mountain. So maybe we can find its remains around the north pole region. But nowadays this is an restricted area and it is forbidden to go there.
